My mom is really good at what she does. Last night, our family had the opportunity to see her honored in several courts of achievement, but what makes me most proud to be her daughter is the way she represents herself all the time.When given the opportunity, she always publicly thanks the Lord for the opportunity her Mary Kay business provides to touch the lives of others and share her faith with them. My mother is an amazing woman, on and off the stage.
Last night was especially moving. Jan mentioned the struggles our family has been through this year, concerning my dad's illness... He was recognized, too, and my hope is that anyone who was there last night will know God's love and power by seeing our family.
