1. You can slap your husband (gently) and he won't leave you! :)
2. If a boy is dressing up and carrying a purse, it's okay if he has trucks in the purse.
3. Having 8 kids really is 8 times the work and 8 times the joy!
4. Kate is really funny. Jon is too, sometimes.
5. A three-story, 2500+ square foot home is not big enough for 10 people. Even if 8 of them are really little.
6. Godly people can have a reality TV show that people love to watch!
7. Cara and Mady are not identical and have very, very different personalities!
8. When your child is sick, you can put them to bed on a pallet in the laudry room for easier cleanup. LOL
9. Kate looks good with any color hair, but Jon likes her best as a blonde and she likes him best with hair, period.

I've learned so much from this brilliant show! organization tips, the best juice for my kids :) and what it the most important to buy organic, etc. but their overriding theme... (to me) God has no reason (that we can see or understand) as to who has children and who doesn't. Who has six at a time and who can't get pregnant after years of treatment... godly people who can't get pregnant, crack addicts that have babies... so i guess, "when we can't trace his hand, we have to trust his heart" as the old cheesy song goes. trust that he sees what we can't and always has our best in mind. (apply to previous blog as well) love you girl!
