Unchanging

Here is the "Daily Bible Verse" that popped up on my igoogle homepage just now:

Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. – Hebrews 6:17-18

So what I'm realizing is this:

• God doesn't fail. 
• His "smtp.mail.com" outgoing mail server never goes down.
• His battery never dies.
• God doesn't lose signal.
• God doesn't have to "sync" to a pc or any other piece of hardware; He just is.
• However He was for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon, Esther, Ruth, Nebuchadnezzar, Paul, Peter, John the Baptist, and my great-grandmother Mary Ottie..... He is still the same for me.

I'm having a little trouble with my phone today.  But thankfully, God is showing me how to have a teachable spirit even when I want to throw things across the room.  So I'm thanking Him for showing me more of Him today.

Me: "God, CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?"
God: "Yes."
