I'm thinking about how important our words are to our spouse. It is crucial that the first words my spouse hears when he comes home are kind and loving. It is essential that the last words we say to each other before departing company are kind and loving. This can also apply to our face, and our tone. Bottom line, nobody should ever leave in haste or in anger, even if it's just to go to the grocery store.
I thought about this while we were watching Charlotte's Web and the word "salutations" was discussed. I started thinking about how we greet each other. And how we say goodbye... We should treat our spouse as good or better than we treat others in our lives.
