Desperate TV Programming

It still bothers me, immensely, that a show like Desperate Housewives follows Extreme Home Makevoer. What does that say about our TV viewing audience? Do they really think the people who watch a wholesome, caring show like EHMakeover want to sit around for another hour to watch the trash portrayed in Des. Housewives?? COME ON! I hate even seeing the commercials for it during my fav. show. Sorry if you watch the ladies of Wisteria Lane, but this is my opinion and I just think it's wrong.
